Raise your hand
WarmUp is a network of go-to-market engineers companies trust with real systems. If that’s you, raise your hand below and we’ll email you the first step.
A real person reads every application and replies either way. No résumé gymnastics, no fees. Candidates never pay.
How it goes: a check that takes about half an hour, with a clock on each question. A real person reads it and gets back to you either way. If it’s a fit, you’re invited straight to the assessment, the opposite of the check: no timer, real work in your own time, and AI tools are welcome.
Name and email
That is the whole form. Any address works, personal is fine, and it is always free.
A short check
About half an hour, with a clock on each question. It is closed book on purpose, and nothing about it is ever shown outside our team.
A real person reviews it
We read every answer and get back to you either way. If it's a fit, you go straight to the assessment.
The assessment
Real go-to-market work, in your own time, with AI tools welcome. No timer. A named person scores it and you get written feedback either way.
Your results, then your profile
Thirty minutes to go through how it went. Pass, and you build your profile and join the network.
Candidates never pay, at any step. Not to apply, not to be assessed, not to get hired.
Questions from candidates
Does WarmUp cost me anything?
No. Never. Not for assessment, not for placement, not for listing. The education is free, the community is free, the assessment is free. A verifier that charges the people it verifies has a conflict of interest, so we built the whole model on the other side: companies pay when they hire.
What is the process, end to end?
Raise your hand with your name and email. You get a link to a check that takes about half an hour. A real person reads it and gets back to you either way. If it's a fit, you're invited straight to the assessment: real go-to-market work in your own time, with no timer and AI tools welcome, and a named person scores it. After that we spend thirty minutes going through how it went. If you pass, you build your profile, we review it, and it goes live.
Why is the first part timed when you say the assessment is not?
Because they are doing two different jobs. The first part is a check that takes about half an hour, with a clock on each question. The clock is there so there is no point looking answers up: we want to know what you carry around in your head, which is what shows up on a client call. It decides one thing only, which is whether you move to the assessment now or someone here follows up with you directly about next steps. The assessment itself is the opposite in every way: no timer, real work in your own time, and you are welcome to use AI tools, because using agents well is part of the job.
Do you take sales roles, or only engineers?
Both, though the engineering side is what we are known for. If you sell (a BDR creating pipeline, or an account executive running deals), you apply exactly the same way, and the bar is the same: a short check, then straight into real work assessed by a named human, with no call in between. The questions and the assessment are built for the job you actually do, so a closer is never scored on prospecting tooling. Companies hiring through the directory can filter for those roles specifically.
I am between roles and only have a personal email. Can I still join?
Yes. Any email address works, personal included, whether you are joining as talent or browsing as a company. You never need a work email to use WarmUp.
What are the tracks, and which one am I?
Three engineering roles, deliberately never tiers: Workflow Builder (what should I build?), Systems Integrator (how should I build it?), and Revenue Architect (should we build it at all?). A great Workflow Builder is not a junior Revenue Architect, the same way a great sous chef is not a failed restaurateur. Our scope questions route you; you do not have to guess.
Who sees my information?
Nothing about you renders publicly until a human has reviewed your profile and published it. Your email address is never shown to companies. Until you are published, your profile is only reachable by the private link in your hands.
How will assessments work?
About 30 minutes of real work, async, on your schedule: roughly 20 minutes building an enrichment and routing workflow from a brief, then 5 to 10 minutes recording a walkthrough of what you built and why. AI tools are explicitly allowed and you work the build alongside a guided session, because using agents well is the skill we are verifying. A human makes every pass or fail decision, and every candidate gets substantive feedback either way.
