GTM engineering
Outbound with a reason behind every send.
We find who is in market from hiring, funding, job changes and your own data, enrich them in Clay, run the play across email and LinkedIn, and sync every touch to your CRM. Then we hand you the system.
How GTM engineering runs.
- 01
Intake and model
weeks 1 to 2
One intake form becomes the source of truth. Your closed-won and closed-lost deals become the model for who to go after.
Runs on Your CRM, Clay
- 02
Signals
week 2
Public signals, plus the custom scrapes we build with Claude Code, tell us who is in market this week rather than who exists.
Runs on Clay, Claude Code, LinkedIn
- 03
Enrich and verify
week 3
Contacts are enriched through a waterfall of providers and verified twice before anyone is allowed into a sequence.
Runs on Clay
- 04
Plays
week 4
Each signal maps to a play: the email, the LinkedIn touch, the timing. Copy is drafted from your own calls and approved by you.
Runs on Instantly, HeyReach
- 05
Replies
from launch
Every reply is classified. Positive ones get a draft response within minutes; a person owns the send.
Runs on Claude, Slack
- 06
Sync and improve
every two weeks
Every touch and every outcome lands in your CRM. We read the numbers with you and change the plays that are not working.

- 07
Transfer
when it works
The tables, the plays, the docs and the numbers move to your team, with training. You keep the system.
Runs on Your team
Example run. Tools and steps vary with your stack.
Systems built for
Outbound that runs on guesses, and what replaces it.
Most outbound fails for three reasons that have nothing to do with copy.
- Lists
A list bought from a database, with no reason any name is on it this week.
A list built from signals and from your own best customers, so every send has a reason.
- Ownership
Nobody owns the build. The Clay table lives in one contractor's head.
A documented system your team can read, run and change, because we built it to be handed over.
- Deliverability
You hear about inbox problems when replies stop.
Inbox health watched daily, sending domains kept separate from your main one, and problems fixed before they reach your numbers.
What we build and run.
Four parts, built on your stack. Each one is yours when we hand over.
Signals and custom events
Hiring, funding, job changes, site visits and the events only your business can see, pulled into one feed that decides who gets worked this week.
- Public signals from job posts, funding and job changes
- Custom scrapes built with Claude Code for the signals nobody sells
- Your own product and CRM events, routed in
Lists and enrichment
Every contact passes through a waterfall of data providers and two validation checks before a sequence can touch them.
- Waterfall enrichment across providers, so one gap does not drop a contact
- Email and phone verified before the send, not after the bounce
- Scored against your closed-won deals, not a generic fit score
Plays across email and LinkedIn
A play is the sequence that fits the signal: the email, the LinkedIn touch, the gap between them, and the call to action that never changes.
- Copy drafted from your sales calls, in your words
- The call to action is fixed; the model never rephrases it
- A person reads a sample of every batch before it launches
Infrastructure and CRM sync
Sending domains, inboxes and warm-up on one side; HubSpot or Salesforce on the other, with every touch, reply and meeting written back.
- Separate sending domains, so your main domain is never at risk
- Inbox health watched daily
- Every reply, meeting and outcome synced to the CRM you already report from
On the record.
“What I find both unique and refreshing in working with Warmup is their efforts to refine the prospect lists such that 90-95% of the companies that Warmup eventually presented were in our target market. The time savings aspect of this one element cannot be understated, not to mention how this illustrates that Warmup is not just listening to our needs but also acting on that information.”
“Mike and the WarmUp team really came through for us when we needed to test outbound with different personas. They walked us through their messaging process, built solid lists based on what we told them we were looking for, and actually got us in front of Agile coaches - which wasn't easy. Good people to work with.”
“Our company MTS scanners have been working with Deisy at warm-up for sometime. Deisy is a quick learner has great phone presence and is able to connect with strangers on the other side of a call. Deisy does her homework has access to great lists and has been Very accommodating to MTS over the months that we work together.”
“Warmup really helped us elevate our approach to GTM. We were manually managing lists and contacts, tracking what we could. WarmUp helped track who engaged with our LinkedIn content, visited our site, and automated the qualification process so we could route them to the right place.”
Part of forward-deployed growth engineering.
Outbound, ads, founder content and the CRM underneath are planned together and run by one team, and every channel feeds the next. Take one, or the whole engine. Either way you own it at the end.

Your first 90 days.
Live by week four. Better every two weeks after that. Yours when it works.
Weeks 1 to 4
Build
Intake, the model, the signals, the lists and the first plays. Launch at the end of week four.
What you do: One intake form and two one-hour calls.
Month 2 onward
Operate
We run it with your team: replies, numbers, changes to the plays every two weeks.
What you do: A thirty-minute review every two weeks and the final say on every send.
When the numbers hold
Transfer
The system, the docs and the playbooks move to your team, with training. Or you keep us on to run it.
What you do: Name who takes it over. We train them.
We do not publish pricing. The first call ends with a scope and a number.
GTM engineering, answered.
What is GTM engineering, and how is it different from an outbound agency?
An outbound agency sends emails for you. GTM engineering builds the system that decides who to contact, why, and when, runs it across email and LinkedIn, and writes every result back to your CRM. We build that system on your stack and hand it to your team, which an agency has no reason to do.
Do you build in Clay?
Yes. Clay is where the enrichment, scoring and routing live, wired to your CRM. You keep the tables when we hand over.
How long until the first campaign is live?
Four weeks from intake, if your CRM data is reachable in week one. Sending domains need two to three weeks of warm-up, so they are set up on day one.
What is signal-based outbound?
Outbound where every contact is on the list for a reason that is true this week: a hire, a funding round, a job change, a visit to your pricing page. The signal decides the play and the timing. Nobody gets a cold email because they exist in a database.
Do you write the copy, or do we?
We draft it from your own sales calls and your best replies, so it reads like your team. You approve every play before it runs, and the call to action is fixed by you and never rephrased by a model.
Can you guarantee a number of meetings?
No. Anyone who guarantees meetings is choosing the number before they know your market. We show you the numbers every two weeks and change what is not working.
How does this connect to HubSpot or Salesforce?
Every touch, reply, meeting and outcome is written to your CRM as it happens. The reports you already run show outbound next to everything else. We do not report from a dashboard of our own.
What happens to the system when the engagement ends?
It is yours. The Clay tables, the sequences, the documentation and the numbers transfer to your team, with training. That handover is the point of how we work, not an exit clause.
How much of this is done by AI?
Research, enrichment, drafting and classification are automated. Every send is approved by a person, every positive reply is answered by a person, and nothing is drafted unless the signal behind it is verified.
Tell us who you sell to.
Thirty minutes. We will tell you which signals exist for your market, what we would build, and what you would own at the end.
